Special effects: embossing (kara-zuri) on the white head scarf and collar of the bride, on the white collar of the lady on the right, and on the bodies of the herons; silver metallic pigments on the kimono of the girl on the left, on the hairpin, the collar and the kimono of the bride, and on the obi of the lady on the right.

This print has a vertical fold in the middle, meaning that it originally was issued as part of an orihon (i.e., folding book).
