Meiji prints
Special effects: silver metallic pigments on the blue obi and pipe; burnishing (sho-men-zuri) on the hair, collar and black obi; embossed fabric printing (nuno-me-zuri) on the pink and white curtains and on the white and blue cloth behind the lady; embossing (kara-zuri) on the wooden bench.

This print has no vertical fold in the middle, meaning that it originally was issued separately and not as part of an orihon (i.e., folding book).
