Meiji prints
Special effects: embossed fabric printing (nuno-me-zuri) on the white part of the star shapes on the woman’s kimono; embossing (kara-zuri) on the sea waves.
This print has a vertical fold in the middle, meaning that it originally was part of an orihon (i.e., folding book).
Published ca. Meiji 43 (1910) by Akiyama Buemon.
