Special effects: silver metallic pigments on the curtains and the kimono of the lady in the front cart, and on the side of the cart at the back.

Published in 1953 by the Yamada Shoin Company.

Aoi is the title of Chapter 9 of the Genji monogatari written by Murasaki Shikibu in the early 11th century.
