Edo prints
Special effects: embossing (kara-zuri) on the paper lining of the tray.
Originally this surimono was privately commissioned and published in 1809. This edition was published from newly carved blocks by Adachi in Tokyo as is certified by the embossed text ‘Adachi’ in the bottom right corner of the print.
