Originally published with line illustrations in 1836 by publisher Suharaya Mohei. This reprint with colour blocks added was issued in 2008 by publisher Unsōdō in Kyoto as part of a five volume set called “A collection of Hokusai drawing manuals” (北斎絵手本集成, which is pronounced as Hokusai etehon shūsei).
